Manage and oversee all technical aspects of Graphic Designing • Improving and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty images.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Experimenting with styles and techniques.
• Understanding how different platforms need different creatives (e.g. Social Media vs Website) and knowing exactly what creatives work best on what platform
• Knowing how to position the collateral, (new or current) so it will create the biggest amount of virality and engagement in a Video.
• Being able to work independently and give input and suggestions to the Team.
• Being able to think in storytelling through designs, images and text, be creative and understand industry trends.
• Supporting to create systems & processes to make the process faster.
Roles & Responsibility as a Video Editor
• Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing
• Work on Green screen videos with necessary motion graphic elements.
• Need to work on Teasers and Trailers whenever there is a launch of new programs.
• Following a script, screenplay or outline.
• Improving and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty footage.
• Reviewing shooting script and raw material to create a short decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity. • Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence.
• Creating the final cut for broadcasting.
• Experimenting with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements.
